Epitalon

🔹 What is Epitalon?

Class: Synthetic peptide—tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) originally isolated from the pineal gland. Molecular weight approximately 390.35 g/mol; sequence Alanine-Glutamate-Asparagine-Glycine. Mechanism: Activates telomerase in somatic cells, which may help maintain or elongate telomeres, protecting against cellular senescence. Regulates circadian rhythms, supports pineal gland function, and may influence melatonin production. Exhibits antioxidant and neuroprotective properties. Primary focus: Longevity, anti-aging, telomere maintenance, circadian rhythm support, cellular repair, and neuroprotection.

🔹 Oral / Sublingual Dosage Range studied/used in research: Typically 5–10 mg per day orally or sublingually, often split into 2 doses. Typical protocol: 5 mg in the morning and 5 mg in the evening for 10–20 days per cycle is commonly reported in human studies. Notes: Sublingual/oral administration is preferred due to systemic absorption and convenience; injection is rarely used.

🔹 Injectable Dosage (less common) Range: 1–5 mg per day subcutaneously is reported in anecdotal use; clinical studies primarily focus on oral/sublingual routes. Frequency: Once or twice daily depending on dose and cycle length. Rationale: Direct injection bypasses first-pass metabolism but is not necessary for effective telomerase activation in most protocols.

🔹 Cycle Length Common cycle length: 10–30 days is typical for one cycle, often repeated 2–3 times per year. Off-cycle: Several months off between cycles is common to observe benefits and reduce potential receptor adaptation. Note: Limited human studies; cycle lengths are mostly extrapolated from Russian clinical trials.

🔹 Optimal Dosing Window Oral / Sublingual: Morning and evening dosing is common to align with circadian rhythm support and melatonin regulation. Avoid midday-only dosing.

Educational Integration Example (oral / sublingual) Example protocol: 5 mg sublingual dose twice daily (morning + evening) for 20 days per cycle, repeated 2–3 times per year. Pair with: Adequate sleep, circadian hygiene, antioxidants, and healthy lifestyle habits to maximize anti-aging and telomere-protective effects.

🔹 Stacking Strategy (Educational) Since Epitalon targets telomere maintenance, circadian regulation, and cellular longevity, stacking focuses on anti-aging, regenerative health, and metabolic support: 🔸 Longevity & Cellular Repair

  • FOXO4-DRI: Senolytic peptide for clearing senescent cells.
  • NAD⁺ precursors (NMN/NR): Support mitochondrial health and cellular repair.

🔸 Circadian & Hormonal Support

  • Melatonin: Complement Epitalon’s pineal and circadian effects.
  • DSIP: May enhance sleep quality and recovery.

🔸 Tissue & Recovery Support

  • BPC-157 or TB-500: Supports systemic tissue repair and regenerative capacity.
  • Collagen and antioxidants: Aid cellular health and structural integrity.
